Bandung – On July 17, 2023, AAPG ITB SC conducts a comparative program or commonly called a benchmark with AAPG Petronas University of Technology. The first A – GROWTH we did with AAPG UTP was in addition to forming good relations with them, it also gave us more insight as Student Chapters.
The event started with the introduction of our chairman AAPG ITB SC (Rifki Ilsani) and also the chairman of AAPG UTP SC (Muhammad Irfan bin Jusmilla). And then the next session followed by a presentation of each division from us and AAPG UTP SC. From the presentation, we began to see differences between us regarding divisions, tasks, and other matters in the management structure. These differences were the subject of discussion in the question and discussion sessions carried out through the zoom breakout room in each division which has similarities. Finally the event was closed with a review from the MC and also a photo session with AAPG UTP SC.
Overall, the event really gave us new insight, what shortcomings do we have and must be considered and improved in the future. In addition, it adds to our relations among other geology students. Finally, don’t forget all of you to keep looking forward and join our next event. Thank you.
